There are so many different methods, so many types of research: sometimes you can’t see the forest for the trees. And that’s perfectly understandable.
At Valsplat, we’ve been conducting UX research for over 25 years now. That experience is distilled into our ‘Choosing a Research Approach’ training course. We’ll teach you and your team about the different research methods available and how to use them effectively.
This is what the training session looks like
In a half-day session, we’ll discuss how to use user research strategically and what benefits it brings. Among other things, you’ll learn:
-
Making strategic choices
How do you determine the research objective? When do you choose qualitative, quantitative, or a combination?
-
Choosing research methods
What research methods are available and how do you apply them? How do you determine which participants you need?
-
Creating effective test material
How do you ensure that your concept or prototype can answer all important research questions?
It’s an interactive training course. So we get participants working straight away. Using a specific research requirement as a starting point, we’ll guide your team in determining the right research method and design. And we do all of that in half a day.
